Positions

Showroom Sales Associate

Highly motivated and aggressive salesperson sought for Design District showroom of high end modern furnishings. Should come with a book of clients in the South Florida market.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Consistently reaches out to current clients and also cold calls designers and architects

·         Keeps daily log of client calls and client visits, quotes and presentations

·         Attends to walk-in clients when sales support calls them in the sales team rotation

·         Schedules appointments with potential and existing clients both in and out of the showroom

·         Knowledge in furniture layout and basic space planning helpful

·         Prepares proposals, cost estimates, specifications, and other sales documents

·         Schedules client visits in the showroom

Requirements:

·         3 to 5 years’ Experience in sales within furniture showrooms

·         Strong existing client base

·         Skilled with computers. QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, Outlook

·         Sales experience is a must

·         Design experience helpful

·         Detail oriented

·         Multi-lingual is a plus

Kitchen Draftsperson

Draft and design high end Italian kitchens/closets/doors for luxury residential, light commercial spaces, and multi-unit projects under the direction of the Lead Designer, Kitchen Department Director, and General/Showroom Manager. Proficiently uses digital software programs, especially AutoCad. Responsible for supporting kitchen sales and showroom sales staff; drafting efficient kitchen layouts within a client’s budget, pricing of cabinetry, preparing client presentations, generating quotes, checking technical confirmations from factory.

·         Drafts/designs kitchens/closets/doors under the direction of Lead Designer, Kitchen Department Director, and General/Showroom Manager

·         Drafts/space plans furniture layouts to support sales associates when necessary

·         Supports kitchen sales with accurate field measurements and drawings/elevations

·         Visits clients’ homes with team to accurately measure, create plans and estimates for cabinets

·         Accurately prices kitchens/closets/doors for proposals and ordering

·         Prepares proposals, cost estimates, specifications, and other sales documents of kitchens/closets/doors for clients

·         Liaises with factories in Italy to ensure accurate orders/pricing of kitchens/closets/doors

·         Ensures order is placed correctly with the Purchasing department

·         Verifies technical confirmations from European factories

Requirements:

·         Detail oriented

·         Strong, efficient draftsperson

·         Self-motivated; reliable

·         Highly organized

·         Extremely proficient with computer software

·         European kitchen design experience

·         Customer service experience

·         Sales experience a plus

·         General Construction or remodeling knowledge

Compensation:

·         Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
